Animation courses are new buzzword amongst new generation students. This is a field which requires creativity and innovativeness. In earlier days, creative fields did not use to pay much but things have changed drastically n recent times. There is a booming market for animations and cartoons. This career not only satisfies one’s creative urge but also pays well.

 

There are good number of Animation and Cartoon Courses Institutes in India that offer multiple courses. Though, majority of the courses are diploma and certificate courses. However, post graduate degree courses are quite rare. Few of animation colleges are;

In the above colleges, the Industrial Design Centers in Mumbai and Guwahati offer post-graduate degree courses. The basic qualification for joining a diploma course is to pass the 12th standard examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks. Same eligibility criterion is applicable for the bachelor’s degree program while one must have a bachelor’s degree for the PG program.

 

This field is quite suitable for students with creative inclination and also for the reason that it’s a growing industry. With the dawn of animation movies in India apart from several TV programs and bulk of advertisements, commercials, games etc, tings are only going to get better. Animation skills are also hugely required in titling films, creating special effects or in web entertainment programs. Many Indian cartoon and animation professionals are also working for foreign companies. Competitive Exams

 Most of the government organizations in India hold Competitive examinations for jobs. These are held for recruiting the suitable candidates amongst the plethora of job seekers. Apart from merit, other important criteria for job selections in India are different affirmative actions and reservation policy of government. Reservation policies are employed because of the need of assimilating weaker and ignored sections of the population in the main stream.

 

In general, around 7.5 percent seats are reserved for ST (Scheduled Tribes), 15% for SC (Scheduled Caste) Candidates and 27 % seats are reserved for OBC (Other Backward classes) candidates. Rest is for general class of the candidates. As per Supreme Court rules, number of reserved seats for all India competitive examinations should not exceed 50% of the total seats. So one hand, these competitive examinations help in choosing the best candidates for government jobs and at the same time they are also instrumental in uplifting weaker sections of the society.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is all about involves serving people with physical or mental disabilities so that they can attain reasonable level of functioning and independence in all aspects of their daily routines. Occupational therapy is not an isolated function. It is performed in routine life activities of work, play and leisure. Professionals in this career handle cases of people with mental, emotional, physical disabling conditions. Their prime function is to identify the problem and helping out the people in maintaining a balance in their lives, using various methods.
